Click here for a press release from District Attorney Mark Peterson regarding the sex scandal at various Bay Area law enforcement agencies, including the City of Richmond.  Of note, the District Attorney’s Office investigation found that, although certain behavior was “immoral and inappropriate,” interactions with law enforcement officers in Contra Costa County “were not crimes.”  Moreover, the investigation concluded that “there was no attempt by anyone to secrete Ms. Abuslin to Florida in order to frustrate any investigation or to hinder any prosecution.”
